    SPEAKER:  Beth Gilpin
TOPIC:  Tips for Attracting & Securing the People You Need

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Do you find it difficult to find and attract the right people for your organization, or to retain great hires?  Have you ever hired someone who didn’t meet your expectations, and/or created issues with other employees or customers?  Are you looking for creative ways to differentiate yourself as an employer, and/or partner with other employers to increase awareness of opportunities in your area?  If so, this morning workshop will provide tips and tactics aimed at avoiding those worries and challenges, and break-out sessions for brainstorming solutions to shared challenges.

Attendees will learn about underlying principles of effective recruiting and hiring practices, including key steps in preparing for sourcing, screening, and engaging candidates, and making an optimal hire – someone who can do the job, wants the job, and will carry out the role in a way that fits at your place of business.
